Software requirements to open and analyse the data are given in the file SoftwareUseAndInstallation.md. The quickest way to install the python software to open and analyse these files, however, has since become an install using the python pip command, as detailed here. The file SoftwareUseAndInstallation.md is still the authorative source for the purposes of the publication, but most users might find the pip install considerably easier.
