In 2019, five major companies accounted for 21 percent of the global containerboard market. In fact, IP alone was responsible for six percent of the worldwide production capacity, followed by Nine Dragons with five percent, and WestRock with four percent. Lastly, Smurfit Kappa and Lee&Man manufactured three percent each of the global output volume.
