Given the critical role of PARP1 in liver cancer cells, our aim was to find evidence of PARP1-mediated gene regulation in the HepG2 hepatoma cell line. We divided the samples into two groups, HepG2-WT group and HepG2-sgPARP1 group. The PARP1 gene was knocked out in HepG2 cells using CRISPR-Cas9 technology.
