Photograph of Mount Lowe Incline Railway and passengers, California, ca.1901. At the base of the incline is an open air cable car with about 8 passengers. Next to the incline at the station is an electric railcar. Flights of stairs flank the base of the incline rails. Several men are seen posing casually around the railway car. The tracks of the railway car are lain against the mountain at a steep angle and are visible up to the peak of the mountain.
