Data for article "Effect of eccentric training at different muscle lengths on the gastrocnemius medialis fascicle behaviour during single and multi-joint tasks"

This dataset contains biomechanical, motion capture, force platform and ultrasound data collected on 27 healthy adults before and after an eight-week eccentric plantar flexor training program. Participants were assigned to short or long muscle length training groups. Data include single-joint and multi-joint tasks (isometric contractions, rate of force development, running, hopping and countermovement jumps) and allow the study of gastrocnemius medialis muscle–tendon behaviour and Achilles tendon mechanical properties.
