Roca nell'età del Bronzo al Museo Storico-Archeologico dell'Università del Salento

Communicating the long experience of study and research in the archaeological site of Roca in a small museum was not easy. When the Historical-Archaeological Museum of the University of Salento (MUSA) was set up in 2007, a reproduction of a unique context was exposed for the first time: it is about the postern C of the Roca's fortification walls dating back to the Middle Bronze Age, which has a strong narrative value for the history of the protohistoric phase of the settlement. Nowadays, after many years, the accurate cast of the seven individuals found in this area, effectively exposed in Room 2, keeps on being one of the strong points of the MUSA exhibition path, arousing the interest and the attention of the visitors.
