Here we provide the full dataset to accompany the experiments presented in Myers et al. (2024) Lava dome morphology controlled by viscosity and cohesion: analogue experiments of episodic dome growth. We systematically explored the effect of cohesion and viscosity by carrying out experiments using (1) only granular material (sand, sand with 10 wt.% gypsum, and sand with 20 wt.% gypsum); (2) each granular material with a low viscosity syrup-sugar suspension, with 30 wt.% sugar; and (3) each granular material with a high viscosity syrup-sugar suspension, with 50 wt.% sugar.
