## **Abstract** \n\nThis dataset and its metadata statement were supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by a third party and are presented here as originally supplied.\n\nData layer includes polygons and lines that represent the State mainland, islands and adjacent ocean. The Coastline is an interpretation of the mean high water mark for the state. The 2004 GeoScience Australia GeoData Coast 100k has been used to define all state borders. The Ocean extent is arbitrary and does not define State Waters.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nCan be used for general mapping purposes.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThe layer has been compiled from the State coastline recaptured in 2005, together with State borders based upon the standard map grid and DCDB county layers.\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nSA Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources (2015) Topography - South Australia - PED. 数据图层包含用于表征该州本土区域、岛屿及邻近海域的多边形与线状地理要素。本海岸线数据为该州平均高潮线的解译成果。本次制图的州界全部采用2004年澳大利亚地质调查局（GeoScience Australia）发布的GeoData Coast 100k数据集进行定义。本次划定的海域范围仅为示意范畴，并不作为州管辖水域的法定边界。
