Complete genome sequences of two Xylella fastidiosa subsp. multiplex (Xfm) strains isolated from Prunus dulcis (BA_AL92_2) and Prunus avium (BA_CH92_4)

We describe the complete genome sequences of two Xylella fastidiosa subsp. multiplex (Xfm) strains named BA_AL92_2 and BA_CH92_4, using long (PacBio long-read sequencing)- and short-read (Illumina) sequencing technology. Xfm strains were obtained after its successful isolation in pure culture from two plant samples of Prunus dulcis (BA_AL92_2) and Prunus avium (BA_CH92_4) collected in Apulia region (Italy) in 2024 in the framework of the annual surveillance program implemented in all European Union countries.
