NifH Sequencing from Western North Atlantic Coastal Waters

This is the nifH amplicon sequencing dataset associated with high rates of nitrogen fixation that were recorded in coastal samples from the Western North Atlantic Ocean. The nifH gene was amplified from both DNA and RNA (cDNA) from a handful of samples that were part of a broader multi-year multi-season study of nitrogen fixation in coastal regions.
