For postmenopausal women, atrophic vaginitis is a common gynecological disease. The vaginal microbiota is thought to contribute to atrophic vaginitis. However, whether hyperglycemia impact the vaginal flora and further incease the susceptibility to vaginitis in post-menopause diabetic women is not clear.
