NRS-21890 | Financial records [Royal Commission into the former Chelmsford Private Hospital and Mental Health Services in New South Wales]

This series comprises of financial records collected by the Commission that were not included in 20/- Vieria Bennell and Company. Dr Bailey's accountant records are in NRS-21259.The financial records are from all the doctors that were involved in Chelmsford Private Hospital, which included Dr Gill, Dr Bailey, Dr Gardiner and Psychologist Evan Davies. Company documents and solicitor records are included with Medicare claims slips in NRS-21257-4.Patient finances are included in two card index sequences that were arranged alphabetically. The card indexes contain Patient name, Address, Telephone number and patient's doctor. The card indexes record only from 1962 to 1965 and detail the year, month and day and monthly amount with total remittance with date account was sent or re-sent and settled. Additional information on the index cards may record court appearances or dealings with solicitors.
