Geochemistry and modeling data for slightly altered basalts of IODP Site U1434

This dataset serves for manuscript " Iron isotopic variations in oceanic crust basalts caused by low-temperature seawater alteration ". Three tables can be found in the dataset, including in situ elemental data for rock surface, whole-rock geochemical data for slightly altered basalts, and results of seawater-rock interation modeling. By using these data, we propose a two-stage alteration model during seafloor weathering to expain the Fe isotopic variations of surface basalts of oceanic crust.
