VPRS 18905 Divisional Heads Minutes, Agenda, Papers and Correspondence

This series comprises minutes, agenda, papers and correspondence of the Divisional Head Meetings of the Mount Royal Hospital (VA 1280) and the Department Head Meetings of the Melbourne Extended Care and Rehabilitation Service (VA 5265). The Melbourne Extended Care and Rehabilitation Service was the product of the amalgamation of Mount Royal Hospital and the Greenvale Centre (VA 5267). This group comprised the heads of the various departments within the broader Divisional organisational structure of the hospital. The group discussed and made recommendations on operational matters including: New services and clinics Medical appointments Clinical facilities and operations Clinical practice Educational activities Quality Redevelopment costs and equipment. Additionally, the group addressed patient related issues such as medical records, admissions procedures, and patient security. There is a gap in the extant records from 1983 – 1993.
