Walking itineraries on Toulouse Métropole

Routes for the discovery of local biodiversity implemented as part of the action programme linked to the Toulouse Métropole biodiversity strategy. By resolution of the Conseil de Métropole of 27 June 2019, Toulouse Métropole adopted the guidelines and the first operational actions of its biodiversity strategy, which enabled it to obtain recognition as a ‘Territory Committed to Nature’ in 2019. One of the projects of this action programme is to identify and promote biodiversity discovery routes among the population. The implementation of this project started with the development of 5 routes that have been identified on the basis of already existing routes, based on a crossover of different data (hiking route, green and blue frame, flora database of Toulouse, ...).
