Noise map Industry (Lnight) Ghent – 2021

Strategic noise map for the city of Ghent concerning industry according to RL 2002/49/EC. The reference year of these data is 2021. The noise map shall show how much noise the environment is exposed. Noise pollution expressed in parameter Lden. The LDEN level is weighted annual average sound pressure level over the day at which the evening and the relative weight of night levels is higher, which corresponds to the finding that noise nuisance in the evening and at night is usually as follows: it is more difficult to experience. European research therefore shows that: a Lden is a relatively good predictor of the extent to which residents are nearby may be hampered.
