Tutsan is a declared noxious weed which invades woodlands and pastures in Australia, causing adverse effects to both native flora and grazing livestock. One biocontrol agent has been released to for tutsan:

1. Tutsan rust *Melampsora hypericorum*

Release of tutsan rust is expected to reduce the spread and density of tutsan infestations. Tutsan rust is now established in many locations including in Victoria, where it aids in controlling tutsan populations. The biocontrol agent is yet to be released in NSW. Regular updates on field days, workshops, and research results are published on the Blog.

突节金丝桃（Hypericum androsaemum），俗称图森金丝桃（Tutsan），是一种已被列为有害杂草的物种。其会入侵澳大利亚的林地与牧场，对本土植物群落及放牧家畜均会造成不利影响。目前针对图森金丝桃已释放一种生物防治制剂：
1. 图森金丝桃锈病（*Melampsora hypericorum*）

释放图森金丝桃锈病预计可抑制该杂草的扩散与种群密度。目前该锈病已在维多利亚州等诸多区域成功定殖，助力管控当地图森金丝桃种群；而在新南威尔士州（NSW），该生防制剂尚未完成释放。相关田间开放日、研讨会及研究成果的定期更新均会发布于官方博客。
