This is a reference single cell RNA sequencing dataset containing lipid-laden macrophages (LLMs) from a murine glioblastoma and HCC model (Kloosterman and Erbani et al., Cell 2024 and Ramirez, Taranto and Ando-Kuri et al., Nature Communications 2024).
This dataset is used for comparing metabolic activity of LLMs in newly generated single cell RNA sequencing dataset to uncover the potential source of lipids for macrophages in other types of cancer. The code to integrate and analyse this dataset can be found in Kloosterman et al., STAR Protocols 2024.
