资源简介:

The system of governance in Indonesia still has corruption. This causes the loss of integrity. The research will assess the potential of blockchain technology as an alternative mechanism for ensuring transparency and integrity in public data management. The study uses an experimental research methodology and has created two systems for comparison: System A is the traditional centralized database system built on the Python Flask framework and System B is the decentralized database system built on the Ethereum Sepolia Testnet and Solidity framework. It has been found that the success rate of manipulating System A is quite high at 98%. No audit trail or traceability feature, this is an inherent flaw of centralized systems. On the other hand, System B has a success rate of zero for manipulation as the transactions are recorded on an immutable ledger. The results showed that System A allows for data manipulation without leaving audit trails hence revealing loopholes in existing centralized systems. Conversely, System B guarantees immutability, traceability, and verifiability via cryptographically logging transactions and a decentralized architecture. Blockchain technology has the potential to fight corruption in a number of ways, including protecting public records from tampering and increasing accountability among different institutions.
