GAD antibody-associated epilepsy: T cells kill neurons, plasma cells and antibodies are bystanders

We compared temporal lobe tissue from patients with GAD65 antibody associated temporal lobe epilepsy to control tissue transcriptomically and histopathologically and evaluated clincal data 9 GAD antibody-associated epilepsy (5 early = short disease duration, 4 late = long disease duration), 7 control epilepsy control cases (epilepsy resective surgery without immune-mediated causes)
