Dataset for "Laser-induced topological spin switching at room temperature in the van der Waals ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2"

Dataset for calculation of Q in "Laser-induced topological spin switching at room temperature in the van der Waals ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2" which investigates the effect of laser induced heating on the domain structure of the ferromagnet van der Waals Fe3GaTe2, investigated through MOKE and micromagnetic simulationsThis dataset contains .ovf data and the .jpg snapshots accompanying this of the static magnetisation after simulating fast heating and cooling of the system . Simulations were carried out in mumax3 and relaxed after the above process at fields given by the subfolder title. The .ovf files were used to calculate Q through the ext_topologicalcharge() function available in mumax3 providing an estimation the topological charge.
