Data and R codes for: Adaptations to marine environments and the evolution of slow-paced life histories in endotherms

The dataset includes life history traits, ecological covariates, and phylogenetic information for both birds and mammals, along with character stochastic mappings across 500 phylogenies. The accompanying R code enables users to process the data and phylogenies, construct the fast–slow continuum, estimate ancestral states, and perform character stochastic mappings, MANOVAs, and both univariate and bivariate evolutionary model analyses. Additionally, all figures presented in the main text and supplementary materials can be reproduced using the provided code.
