RV Investigator Voyage IN2021_E04 EK60/EK80 Echosounder

This record describes scientific split-beam echosounder data collected on the RV Investigator voyage IN2021_E04, to calibrate and commission new, upgraded and existing critical equipment (with sea trials and personnel training) onboard RV Investigator for upcoming voyages in the 2021 schedule and beyond. The primary objective for this voyage were testing Seismic Systems. The voyage departed Hobart PW04 on the 15/12/2021 and returned to Hobart PW04 on the 20/12/2021.The Simrad EK60 split beam echosounders for18kHz and Simrad EK80 split beam echosounders for 38, 70 120, 200 and 333 kHz were used to acquire acoustic backscatter data to a range of 1500 m, in the region of South East Tasmania. All frequencies were logged continuously for the extent of the voyage. Data are stored in *.raw, *.bot and *.idx format at CSIRO. There are 210 files totalling 10.1 GB of raw data in this dataset.No processing has been conducted on this data.Additional information regarding this dataset is contained in the GSM data acquisition and processing report. 本数据集记录了“调查号”（RV Investigator）科考船IN2021_E04航次采集的分裂波束回声测深仪（split-beam echosounder）数据，用于为该船2021年及后续航次计划搭载的新型、升级型及现有关键设备开展校准与投用工作（含海试与人员培训）。本航次的核心目标为地震系统测试。航次于2021年12月15日从霍巴特PW04泊位启航，于2021年12月20日返回霍巴特PW04泊位。本次作业使用适用于18kHz频段的Simrad EK60型分裂波束回声测深仪，以及适用于38、70、120、200与333kHz频段的Simrad EK80型分裂波束回声测深仪，在塔斯马尼亚东南部海域采集了最大探测深度达1500米的声学背散射数据。航次全程连续记录了所有频段的观测数据。数据以*.raw、*.bot及*.idx格式存储于澳大利亚联邦科学与工业研究组织（CSIRO）。本数据集共计210个文件，原始数据总容量达10.1GB。本数据集未经过任何处理。有关本数据集的更多信息可查阅GSM数据采集与处理报告。额外数据产品可根据申请获取。
