NoVA Dialysis Access Atlas: Medicare-Certified Kidney Dialysis Facilities, Ownership and Distance by Census Tract (Keystone GIS Day 127)

CMS facility records for 157 Medicare-certified dialysis facilities in and within 40 km of Northern Virginia (45 inside the nine jurisdictions), geocoded with the Census Bureau geocoder and measured against 579 census tracts: straight-line distance to the nearest facility, to late-shift, home-training and highly rated facilities, stations per 100,000 residents by jurisdiction, ACS population and CDC PLACES diabetes and hypertension prevalence. 121,394 residents live more than five miles from a facility; only 11 of 45 NoVA facilities offer a late shift.
