The project aims at describing the transcriptome composition and differential expression of genes in response to different stressors (elevated temperature, heavy metals (cadmium) and organic pollutants (phenanthrene)). Individuals of three amphipod species were subjected to temperature or chemical stresses. Mixed samples from different conditions were used to create de novo transcriptome assemblies with Trinity. After that, transcript quantiifcation was performed with salmon and further processed with the DESeq2 package for R.
