Created by taking the annual-average version of CLIMAP 1981 reconstruction, and replacing the data in the region 140W-20E, 20N-20S with OSU estimates and new codes for 0=ocean, -222=seasonal sea ice, -444=sea ice, -555=land ice, -999=land.本数据集基于CLIMAP 1981年重建结果的年平均版本构建，将区域140W-20E、20N-20S内的数据替换为OSU（Ohio State University，俄亥俄州立大学）的估算值，并采用全新的编码规则：0代表海洋，-222代表季节性海冰，-444代表海冰，-555代表陆地冰，-999代表陆地。
