Liu et al. 2021 dentate gyrus neuron gene body methylation

MuData object containing CpG and non-CpG dentate gyrus neuron gene body methylation levels measured by single-cell bisulfite sequencing (scBS-seq) from "DNA methylation atlas of the mouse brain at single-cell resolution" (Liu et al., Nature, 2021). Methylation levels were measured using two scBS-seq protocols: snmC-seq2 and snm3C-seq. The resulting data contains clear batch effects by sequencing protocol in addition to separating by cell type. This data is used to demonstrate how methylVI, a deep generative model of scBS-seq data, can correct for batch effects in scBS-seq data.
