This repository contains the analysis dataset and Python code supporting the manuscript "Environmental determinants of pest occurrence decouple from severity drivers across Tibetan Plateau alpine grasslands" (Ecography, under review). The study examines how environmental factors differentially govern pest occurrence versus conditional severity across 257 villages in Shiqu County, Tibetan Plateau (3,200–5,300 m elevation), using hurdle models, path analysis with PCA-based composite indicators, and Geodetector spatial stratified heterogeneity analysis. The dataset includes pest survey responses for three consumer guilds (rodents, toxic weeds, insect herbivores), 15 environmental predictors (climate, soil, terrain, vegetation, grazing), and complete model outputs for all analyses reported in the manuscript. All figures can be reproduced by running the included Python scripts.
