Most common experiences using new technology while watching sports 2023

The use of new technologies is transforming the way that fans experience live sport, both inside and outside the stadium. During a global survey conducted in April 2023, around 68 percent of respondents stated that they had made use of regular game or player information on their smartphone while watching the game live. Meanwhile, 43 percent of fans had experienced trying on merchandise in 3D using AR.
