WFS Car License plate 1:250 000

This download service provides the areas of the car registration plates in a scale of 1:250 000 for the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany. The overview of the car registration marks includes the object type AX_KreisRegion and AX_Municipality with the attributes Name, regional key of the administrative areas, car mark, location (geometry data from the administrative areas in scale 1:250 000 and additionally attributive geographical coordinates — GGMMSS -) The dataset is based on the scale of 1:250 000 and contains about 410 entries. The location of the objects is described as area geometry and point geometry (via attributes). There are some car registration marks that are only managed by municipalities. Only the affected communities are presented. The copyrighted data is provided free of charge under data license Germany Attribution 2.0.
