Attitude to the European Parliament and the EC in general from the view of the population of the EC shortly after the first election to the European Parliament. Topics: degree of familiarity of the elections; judgment on the significance of elections; personal election participation and personal behavior at the polls; expectations of the European Parliament and its members; most important political goals of the country in the next 10years; attitude to society and satisfaction with the functioning of democracy in the country; general attitude to the European Community; attitude to membership of the country in the EC; approval of an acceleration of the European unification movement; self-assessment on a left-right continuum; party preference (Sunday question) and party ties; religiousness; personal opinion leadership. Demography: marital status; company size; household income; degree of urbanization; behavior at the polls in the last European election.
