City of Melbourne CLUE Business Establishments by CLUE Industries (Block) 2010

This dataset was collected as part of the City of Melbourne's Census of Land Use and Employment (CLUE). The data shows the number of business establishments per city (CLUE) block, classified by their CLUE industry (from ANZSIC) and small area allocation. The data is aggregated to the 2016 Blocks for CLUE Boundaries and covers the year period of 2010.\n\nA business establishment is defined as a \n\n * Commercial occupant in a building\n\n * Separate land use\n\n * Any permanent presence of economic activity in accordance with standard Industry classification (ANZSIC).\n\nHence, if one organisation has its presence in several buildings in the CLUE area, each time it will be counted as a separate establishment. 因此，若某一企业在CLUE区域内的多处建筑设有经营场所，则每一处场所均将被计为独立的商业机构。由此可知，CLUE统计的机构数量实为经营场所的数量，而非企业总数。
