资源简介:
This project aims to uncover the molecular mechanisms that govern skeletal muscle atrophy and its recovery through exercise. Disuse-induced muscle loss contributes to metabolic dysfunction, reduced mobility, and increased mortality, yet the underlying regulatory processes remain poorly understood. By applying transcriptome-wide RNA sequencing in a well-established murine hindlimb suspension model, this research investigates how muscle tissue responds to disuse and how exercise drives recovery. Through the integration of gene expression, transcription factor prediction, and alternative splicing analyses, the study seeks to identify key regulatory factors and transcript-level changes that shape muscle adaptations. These insights provide foundational insight into muscle plasticity and identify potential molecular targets for improving muscle health in clinical and rehabilitative settings.
