## **Abstract** \n\nThis dataset and its metadata statement were supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by a third party and are presented here as originally supplied.\n\nDataset contains framework layers compiled for representation on state reference map, scale 1:1.5 million. Line and polygon features only. Road, rail, waterbody and watercourse themes included. State coastline not included.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nCan be used as a framework layer for whole of state mapping or for a generalised framework for regional mapping. Not suitable for analysis.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nInformation was compiled and digitised in generalised form from 1:250 000 scale hard copy maps. The individual CAD files were combined into seamless form and converted to Lambert Conformal Conic projection, standard parallels 29 degrees and 35 degrees S, central meridian 135 degrees E. 本数据集及其元数据声明由第三方提供给生物区域评估计划（Bioregional Assessment Programme），本文档按原始提交形式完整呈现。

本数据集包含为1:150万比例尺州参考地图编制的框架图层，仅包含线与多边形地理要素，涵盖道路、铁路、水体与河道相关主题，不含州级海岸线。

## 用途

可作为全州制图的基础框架图层，或用于区域制图的通用概化框架，不适用于各类分析类工作。

## 数据集历史

本数据集的信息经概化处理后，从1:25万比例尺纸质地图中提取并完成数字化。将各独立计算机辅助设计（CAD）文件合并为无缝图层，并转换为兰勃特等角圆锥投影（Lambert Conformal Conic projection），该投影的标准纬线为南纬29°与35°，中央经线为东经135°。后续将数据转换为地理信息系统（GIS）格式，并重新投影至该州标准兰勃特等角圆锥投影（LCC projection）。
