Aerial pictures — Digital orthophotos of the city of Braunschweig from the flight 1998

In a digital flight on 25 March 1998, hundreds of individual images were taken vertically from an aircraft. The high-resolution images were digitally equalised and precisely assembled using GPS data. This aerial mosaic of the urban area can be superimposed with maps. It is possible to measure routes and calculate areas.
