Dataset on soil hydraulic properties under contrasted plant covers and agricultural practices

Complete dataset on the temporal variation of soil infiltrability along a homogeneous fluvisol, on bare soil or soil planted with two plant species with contrasted root systems (a Malvaceae with a tap-root system and a Poaceae with a fibrous root system), and impacted by three different management practices (burning, mowing, and chemical weeding). An original protocol, based on specific ring infiltrometers, able to measure the temporal dynamics of soil infiltrability was used. This dispositive takes into account the variability of the measurement across space.
