Study of differential gene expression in variegated and unvariegated Yucca flaccida 'Golden Sword'

Using in vitro plant of variegated Yucca flaccida 'Golden Sword', we obtained an unvariegated plant. While the centre of the variegated leaf is yellow with a green border, the non-variegated leaf is completely green. The mRNA of tissues corresponding to the edge and the centre of variegated and non-variegated leaves were compared and particularly the yellow tissue was compared with the three green tissues. Overall design: the samples are called VE and VC for the edge and the center of the variegated plant and UE and UC for the edge and the center of the unvariegated plant. Total RNA was extracted using the NucleoSpin RNA Plus kit according to the manufacturer's instructions (Macherey-Nagel, Duren, Germany), with minus modifications (2% PVP40 in lysis buffer). The mRNA enrichment, libriaries obtention and sequencing were performed by Novogene company. Total RNA were
