Planned food and grocery purchases of Muslims worldwide before Ramadan 2019

A share of 52 percent of respondents of Muslims worldwide planned to purchase food and groceries one to two weeks ahead of Ramadan 2019. During the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, observing Muslims worldwide abstain from eating, drinking, smoking and sexual activities from sunrise to sunset.
