NODC Accession 0112844 includes chemical, discrete sample, physical and profile data collected from PELAGIA in the English Channel, North Atlantic Ocean, North Sea, Norwegian Sea and Skagerrak from 2001-08-18 to 2002-05-25. These data include ALKALINITY, AMMONIUM, DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, NITRATE, NITRITE, PHOSPHATE, Potential temperature (theta), SALINITY, SILICATE, WATER TEMPERATURE and pH. The instruments used to collect these data include Alkalinity titrator, CTD, Coulometer for DIC measurement, bottle and pH meter. These data were collected by Helmuth Thomas of Dalhousie University; Institute of Oceanography and Alberto Borges of University of Liege as part of the COASTAL_Pelagia_CANOBA data set. CDIAC assigned the following cruise ID(s) to this data set: COASTAL_Pelagia_CANOBA. The Global Coastal Carbon Data Project data includes the bottle (discrete) and surface (underway) carbon-related measurements from coastal research cruises, the data from time series cruises and coastal moorings.
