N_BCAE7_2020_S_019 Good Agro-Environmental Conditions (GAEC) — Maintaining landscape features (7) (haies, groves, ponds) in Corrèze Extraction of Telepac DDT19 on 28/11/2020 CAP 2015-2020 — Maintaining landscape features Since 2003, the rules of the Common Agricultural Policy have made certain aid conditional on the cross-compliance of agricultural practices. Cross-compliance of aid is a set of rules to be complied with for any farmer who receives one or more aids linked to the area or number of animals. Within the framework of the 2015-2020 CAP, aid may be conditional, inter alia, by the regulation on Good Agro-Environmental Conditions (GAEC). Among these, GAEC No 7 establishes rules for maintaining the landscape features which are perennial elements of the landscape (haies, groves, ponds). These semi-natural environments, essential for the implementation of a sustainable development policy, constitute habitats, transition zones and displacement environments favourable to the diversity of plant and animal species, water quality, living environment... These rules are laid down by the Ministerial Decree of 24 April 2015 which defines the landscape features in question and lays down the procedures for removing, modifying or moving these elements.
