Data underlying the publication: Estimating the Occurrence of Slow Slip Events and Earthquakes with an Ensemble Kalman Filter

Time series from perfect model experiments of an Ensemble Kalman Filter over a 1D model producing slow-slip events and earthquakes. The observations are shear stress and velocity at a single location aqay from the fault. The time series include the evolution of the shear stress, velocity and state theta at the fault and at the observation location. The prior, perturbed observations and posterior of every analysis step of the data assimilation are provided.

本数据集包含基于集合卡尔曼滤波（Ensemble Kalman Filter）在可模拟慢滑事件与地震活动的一维模型上开展的完美模型试验所生成的时间序列。观测数据为远离断层的单个位置处的剪应力与运动速度。该时间序列涵盖断层及观测位置处的剪应力、运动速度与状态变量θ的演化过程，同时提供了数据同化各分析步的先验信息、扰动观测值与后验结果。
