POLLEN AND PARASITE ANALYSIS OF SAMPLES FROM THE SAN JOSE HEINLENVILLE-NIHONMACHI PROJECT, CALIFORNIA

The San Jose Heinlenville-Nihonmachi Project is located in downtown San Jose on the city blocks bounded by Taylor Street, North Seventh Street, Jackson Street, and North Sixth Street. Features include several wood, ceramic, and iron sewer pipes discovered through a series of trenches placed across what once was the back of house lots. This portion of Heinlenville, known as Chinatown, was built in 1877 and occupied until 1931 when the John Heinlen Company went bankrupt. Current use of this entire city block is by the City of San Jose as their Corporation Yard.圣何塞海恩伦维尔-日本町项目（San Jose Heinlenville-Nihonmachi Project）坐落于圣何塞市中心，其所在城市街区以泰勒街、北第七街、杰克逊街与北第六街为界。本次考古发掘发现的遗存包含多根木质、陶瓷质与铁质排污管道，这些遗存是通过在曾为住宅后院的区域布设一系列探沟后出土的。这片曾被称为"中国城"的海恩伦维尔片区始建于1877年，持续使用至1931年约翰·海恩伦公司（John Heinlen Company）破产为止。目前该整片城市街区被圣何塞市政府用作市政企业堆场（Corporation Yard）。
