Demand Assignment Models and Incentive Designs in Public Transport

Incentive designs are an important part of the intelligent transportation system, but they are not well represented and solved, especially in user equilibrium (UE) and system optimum (SO) modelling. This thesis develops realistic and efficient UE models, SO models and incentive design schemes for intelligent congestion relief strategies in public transport.
