Wadi Hadhramaut II — Native-WaPOR Agricultural Mask Class-Specific Validation: Frozen Reference Data, Candidate Scores and Audit (2021)

This dataset accompanies the study "Class-specific assessment of satellite-derived agricultural masks on native WaPOR cells in hyper-arid Wadi Hadhramaut, Yemen." The dataset provides frozen reference and validation materials for assessing agricultural-support masks on the native FAO WaPOR Level-2 grid for the year 2021 in Wadi Hadhramaut, Yemen. Dataset contents include: Reference records for 250 evaluation cells. 1,500 candidate scores covering six predefined agricultural-support rules. Stratified accuracy-assessment outputs, including confusion matrices, overall accuracy, producer's accuracy and user's accuracy. Paired bootstrap uncertainty estimates based on 5,000 repetitions. Quality-assurance records, reference interpretation and adjudication tables. Spatial figures, operational area-of-interest documentation and supporting provenance records. Partial historical evidence from an earlier 400-cell development sample. Reproducibility: The companion software archive allows researchers to reproduce the reported numerical results using the frozen reference data and candidate scores. Limitations: The reference classifications have not been independently validated through a separate field-based reference campaign. This archive does not provide a complete end-to-end reconstruction from original satellite imagery, and the historical 400-cell analysis has not been fully independently replayed. This is version 1.0.0 of a new Zenodo dataset record. The underlying scientific materials were frozen in research release R6.1 on 4 November 2026.
