This project generated RNA-seq data from epididymal white adipose tissue (eWAT) of 12 mice, including 6 Panx1 knockout and 6 wild-type controls, all subjected to GAN diet induction. The study aimed to investigate the role of Panx1 in regulating adipocyte hypertrophy and hyperplasia under dietary challenge. Differential expression and pathway enrichment analyses revealed significant alterations in lipid metabolism and suppression of the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway in Panx1-deficient mice, providing mechanistic insights into obesity development and metabolic dysfunction.
