Processed Multibeam Sonar Data (version 2) from the Larsen Ice Shelf acquired during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0003 (2000)

This data set was acquired with a SeaBeam Instruments model 2112 multibeam sonar system during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0003 conducted in 2000 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Eugene Domack). These data files include Swath Bathymetry, Acoustic Backscatter data and were processed at sea using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, beginning with version 1. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Prehistory of the Larsen Ice Shelf: Evidence from the Marine Record, and funding was provided by the U.S. National Science Foundation.本数据集由SeaBeam Instruments 2112型多波束声呐系统（multibeam sonar system）采集，采集工作开展于2000年执行的纳撒尼尔·B·帕尔默号科考航次NBP0003，本次航次首席科学家为尤金·多马克博士。本次数据文件涵盖条带测深（Swath Bathymetry）与声学背散射（Acoustic Backscatter）两类数据，并通过开源MB-System多波束声呐处理软件在科考船上完成了海上预处理。上述数据已被纳入全球多分辨率地形合成数据集（GMRT Synthesis），自版本1起即可通过该合成数据集获取。本数据集隶属于“拉森冰架史前史：海洋沉积记录证据”研究项目，资助方为美国国家科学基金会。
