Single cell sequencing was used to study human growth plate cartilage subtypes and response to growht hormone stimulation Overall design: For preparation of human single cell suspension, four human adolescent growth plate chondrocytes were isolated from patients with age 11-14 years of age undergoing Epiphysiodesis. The patients are otherwise physiologically healthy. The needle biopsy containing intact growth plate were examined, selected for explant culture and single cell isolation. Samples were either processed directly, or cultured in vehicle/growth hormone supplemented medium for 24 hours prior to single cell sequencing *************************************************************** Raw files for human/patient samples were not submitted to GEO due to concerns about submitting personally identifiable sequence data for open access. ***************************************************************
