Mother-to-infant microbial transmission and development of early infant gut microbiota

The maternal microbial reservoirs play a crucial role in shaping the intestinal microbiota of infants. However, there is a paucity of comprehensive studies on how the various niche maternal microbiome influences the establishment of infant intestinal microbiota. Therefore, our aim is to investigate the mother-to-infant transmission and early development of infant gut microbiota.
