资源简介:
Isolated from placenta on 3/24/1989 in an intrauterine growth restriction study done at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. This patient isolate could not be serotyped using real time PCR assays designed to distinguish among the 14 ATCC type strains for the 14 known ureaplasma serovars (2, 3). It gave positive results for several serovars even after filter cloning. Comparison of the isolate 4155 partial genome sequence with 18 other completely or partially sequenced genomes showed extensive horizontal gene transfer among the different isolates (1) 1.
