National monuments; region (2018 breakdown) 2013-2018

This table contains figures on the number of national monuments of national significance in the Netherlands at 31 December of the relevant year for the years 2013-2018. Monuments protected by municipalities and provinces are not included in this table. The figures in this table have been compiled by the National Cultural Heritage Agency. The regional classification for all years is based on the municipal classification of 1 January 2018. The figures are not only broken down by type of monument, but also by country, province, municipality and COROP area.
